Not Another Bunch Of Flowers: Review & Giveaway

I think we have finally reached a point where we can safely talk about Christmas without fear of somebody jumping down our necks and shouting, “It’s too soon!!”. With just over thirty days to go I am starting to feel the fear that I haven’t bought any gifts yet, have no idea what to buy, and no time to actually go out there and battle the crowds to get started! So when I was introduced to Not Another Bunch Of Flowers, an online store selling the most amazing range of gifts, it felt like the perfect way to seek inspiration, do my Christmas shopping, and have them delivered to my home without even having to get changed out of my pyjamas. Bonus!

Anikka set up Not Another Bunch Of Flowers in 2013 following a cancer diagnosis. She found that friends and families wanted to send her a gift along with messages of support but didn’t know what to send apart from flowers. What most people don’t know, and what I definitely didn’t know, is that flowers are banned in hospitals and so Anikka decided to set up a website selling thoughtful alternative gifts including cancer care package and hospital hampers. As things progressed she introduced more gift ideas covering all occasions and more recently added personalised gifts to really add that personal touch. When I first spoke to Anikka I was blown away by her kindness and resilience after all she has been through and I couldn’t wait to receive our own little package to share with you all.

Every year since the children were small we have done Christmas Eve hampers, long before they became such a big “thing”. Now it seems most of us do them and I know my children particularly look forward to opening them each year to see what’s inside.

One thing we always include each year without fail is hot chocolate and this year the children will go nuts when they see these hot chocolate spoons with adorable Winter characters to add something extra special. Available as a snowman, penguin, Santa or a reindeer you just stir them in to warm milk (something the children can do themselves) and enjoy the creamiest, dreamiest hot chocolate on Christmas Eve.

We also always include Christmas mugs in our hampers and I absolutely adore these personalised mugs for all six of us! The adult sized mugs are larger and come in a variety of designs from Santa to Rudolph, and I think the children will find it extra special that we have all got a mug to drink from together!

The children’s mugs are a smaller size which is just perfect as I don’t know about you but my children never finish a large mug of anything but if I give them one half full then all hell breaks loose! Priced at £9.95 you can even buy added extras such as gooey chocolate cake mix and chocolate spoons. They would make a lovely gift for friends, family and class teachers too. Who doesn’t love a hot chocolate?

The personalised Christmas range really is beautiful with not just mugs but a whole host of gifts and inspiration. There are gift sacks, coasters, Eco travel cups, bottle bags and ready made personalised Christmas Eve hampers for those who want it all done and dusted in time for the big day. There are even personalised bags for pet treats so you don’t leave our any furry members of the family!

I think it’s so important to support small businesses, especially when their product range is as good as this one but, even better, by shopping at Not Another Bunch Of Flowers you will be doing your bit for charity as a donation of all profits is sent to selected charities. I think Anikka is an absolute inspiration and, as a Mum, successful business owner and a cancer survivor, deserves every bit of recognition she can get. You can see the full range of gifts over at the website www.notanotherbunchofflowers.com.

We also have a very exciting prize for one lucky winner with a £75 gift voucher to spend at Not Another Bunch Of Flowers. 1. I love the Christmas mugs, particularly the reindeer one. They have so many personalised mugs that are amazing and I love the Personalised Definition Mug too.

  2. So difficult, they are all so cute, but if I had to pick one I would go for the penguin reminding me of the children with his headphones on :0)
