As you all know I love my watch collection and Gaz is very much the same these days. When I had the kids I seemed to stop wearing most of my jewellery, sick of them breaking chains or pulling bracelets, so watches very much became my way of accessorising outfits. The hour and minute hands even glow in the dark which is such a useful feature and for those who like a little versatility, the strap is easy interchangeable thanks to a super simple mechanism. I simply would love this for my husband, as a special treat. He missed a very special trip to New York in 2020 to meet our granddaughter who was three weeks old because of needing urgent heart treatment. Then just before Christmas last year he had a stroke, which has impaired his vision, which means Mr Independent has to be driven around by me all the time! This is not meant to be a sob story, because the whole point is, although I know these things have made him sad, he never complains. He is brilliant with our 4 year old twin grandsons and has a great imagination with the things he teaches them. Covid has meant we have not seen so much of our older beautiful granddaughter, because she started secondary school last year and we have all tried to be safe. This summer our daughter and her family finally managed a trip over here from New York with 20 month old baby Charlotte, and finally the whole family could be together and meet the newest addition for the first time. A watch as a gift for him would be lovely to signify how precious time is that is spent with our loved ones! Sorry, I do rather go on!! Happy Days x
