With Mother’s Day around the corner I have been trying to think of idea’s to treat my Mum and show my love and appreciation for all she does. It’s difficult as Christmas only feels like two minutes ago, and my Mum’s birthday is at the start of April, so I’m usually all out of ideas by this point! As a result I usually go with the safe option, and by far the best option in my opinion – chocolate!!

My kids are 10 weeks and 2 years respectively and I swear I’m so much worse with baby 2. Baby brain is in full effect and I feel like I’ve lost all ability to hold rational, interesting, adult conversation. The only reason I don’t go actually insane is my mum. She’s amazing. She babysits for me and I don’t even have to leave her house, I get to sit, in peace, and drink tea while she entertains my toddler and cuddles my son. I am eternally grateful! She also listens to me when I need to talk even if all I say is a rapid monologue of what my daughter has eaten that day (everything, all the food, all of it) or how many times my son has pooped and what has managed to poop on (usually me). She’s my absolute hero and id love to win and gift her this…She wouldn’t want me to buy it but she would be so chuffed if I won it, lol, and we would eat it together (fending off the toddler).
