Valentines Gift Guide *win*

With Valentines day just around the corner, I always find it tricky to come up with new ideas for Gaz so soon after Christmas. I like to tell myself that he feels the same, which is why I end up with the same box of chocolates and a card each year, although this year I thought I’d get one step ahead! I have compiled a list of presents for men and women, for all budgets, which are guaranteed to be a hit!

FOR THRILLSEEKERS

For the thrill seekers amongst us, there really is no better gift than a driving experience day! With a choice of cars, and a choice of locations throughout the UK, you can treat the one you love to an off road rally experience, the opportunity to ride a Monster Truck, a classic car, a Ferrari, even a tank! I love the idea of buying someone an experience and creating memories together which you’ll never forget.

FOR MEN WHO LOVE TO TRAVEL

We were recently introduced to men-u, a revolutionary line of high performance, ultra concentrate products – a little goes a long way! The products fit neatly in the hand and into a man’s lifestyle, bathroom, sports or travel bag, and this travel collection is perfect for getaways!

This gift set comes with a 100ml daily refresh shampoo, a 100ml shower gel, 3 x 15ml skin refreshers, a 15ml liquiflex and a stylish stripes toiletry bag. With the individual products coming to £48.80 its a real bargain at £34.95.

FOR THOSE WITH A SWEET TOOTH

Sugary treats are always a good idea when it comes to Valentines day, especially when they it comes to sparkling wine flavoured jelly beans!! The latest flavour from Jelly Belly, you can toast any occasion with these novelty plastic bottles containing 42g of jelly beans. They have all of the the flavour with none of the alcohol and, at just £3 per set, they are a sweet little gift this Valentines.

I absolutely love these chocolates from Jenny Wren at Sainsbury’s. With a three layered folding box, it really has the wow factor, and the box can even be used to store small keepsakes and jewellery afterwards! With twelve delicious hand-finished Belgian chocolates and truffles – including Fleur de Sel caramel, raspberry yoghurt and white mocha – there really is something for everyone. Available in Sainsbury’s nationwide from January 22nd, priced at just £6.49 (saving £1.50 on the usual RRP), I can see these flying off the shelves!

When it comes to chocolate I’m a sucker for a box of Guylian, from the classic praline seahorses to delicious chocolate truffles, they are all every bit as good as the last! With heart shaped boxes of romantic Belgian chocolate hearts or luxury boxes of praline shapes, they really do make the perfect Valentines gift.

FOR THOSE IN NEED OF A PAMPER

If like me you don’t have time (or actually a husband who will treat you to one) for a spa day this Valentines, the 7th Heaven collection has everything you need for a pamper in the privacy of your own home. From face masks to foot masks, bath bombs to hair products, I love that there is something to suit every skin type and, with ranges for men and women, everybody!

FOR FASHION CONSCIOUS MEN

Any man would be happy to receive this super versatile Dobell Merino Wool Polo Collar Jumper this Valentines day! I love that this jumper can be worn both smart and casual, and charcoal grey never goes out of fashion. Merino Wool is a fantastic fabric that naturally keeps you warm when you are chilly and keeps you cool when you are too hot, its also machine washable! In sizes S – XXL I think this is a gorgeous gift at £34.99.
In keeping with Valentines Day, this Crimson Red Dupion Tie is a great gift to brighten up any mans wardrobe. It’s a lovely gift for those on a budget, available at just £6.99 from Dobell.

FOR SOMEONE SPECIAL

I think a personalised Valentines gift is such a lovely way to say I Love You, and Giftsonline4u have some particularly gorgeous engraved gifts for her. This lovely bangle comes in a stylish golf colour and features a mother of pearl heart at one end and a crystal at the other.

You can have a choice of initial engraved within the mother of pearl heart to make it extra special. Each item comes gift boxed and you can purchase a greetings card or holographic bag ready to surprise the woman in your life! Priced at £29.99 it’s a really affordable and thoughtful gift!

If you’re looking for something special for the man in your life they have some great gift ideas from personalised photo frames to engraved bottles with a variety of popular alcoholic drinks. They also have a  fantastic range of watches, mens jewellery, pocket watches, wallets and glass tumblers. With standard free delivery there’s still time to buy your last minute gifts ready to surprise the one you love!

Another perfect gift for someone special (and I hope you’re reading this part Gaz!) is diamonds!! And when it comes to diamonds, you really can’t go wrong, be that earrings, a necklace, a watch or ring! Valentines Day is a very popular time for proposals and F.Hinds has the most gorgeous selection of engagement rings in a range of metals and styles. I’m holding out for an eternity ring in white gold!

I absolutely adore this heart pendant from Hersey & Son who really do have the most gorgeous range of jewellery! Hersey & Son is one of the few remaining traditional silversmiths in the UK. Set up by Stewart’s Father in 1955, all of their pieces are still manufactured by hand in their London workshop and have been a trade secret for the last 60 years. Including sterling silver tableware, photo frames, wine coasters and now men and women’s jewellery. 95% of the collection can be engraved making them lovely personal gifts.

This beautiful sterling silver heart pendant is a solid casting and comes in a choice of three chains. RRP £40.

FOR THE HOME

Buying homewares for Valentines day is actually a really love idea, especially if you go with the theme of love! I’m a big fan of this gorgeous Wooden LED light up love sign from Melody Maison. You can hang it above your bed for a little extra lighting, in the hallway for fabulous wall decor, even to decorate a wedding venue – I love how versatile it is! At £30.95 it’s a lovely, and affordable way, to say I love you!

I  also love pretty much everything from Cox & Cox, where they have the most gorgeous gift ideas from textiles to outdoor living, all equally as lovely. One of my favourite items is this Heart Soft Wall light, which is just perfect for Valentines Day. Individually handmade in Spain, each wall light is crafted from sustainable materials and hand sewn into a sweet heart shape. Even better it is made from recycled bottles and hand stitched, making it such a thoughtful and unique gift. Also available as a star or fluffy cloud shape, the LED bulbs shine through when mounted on the wall making it a gorgeous addition to any home. Currently on sale at £90 it’s a gift I would love to receive!

FOR THOSE WHO LIKE A TIPPLE

For those who love any excuse to have a drink, Il Gusto have some lovely gift ideas! These heart shaped bottles can be filled with any liquor of your choice, from rhubarb gin to cherry vodka, with prices starting at £15.50. I love that the bottles are entirely reusable and also look really pretty to display. We recently tried the cherry vodka and it was delicious!
As far as gin lovers this Valentines, gins don’t come any more romantic than this 2018 limited edition Pinkster Gin especially for Valentines Day from 31Dover. This bespoke bottling contains the same delicious small-batch Pinkster gin, lovingly hand-steeped in fresh raspberries to give it its signature blushing hue.
I am a huge fan of, not only gin but, 31Dover and love that their products not only taste great but they really do make the perfect gift. Available in the most sleek and stylish gift box, if the way to a mans heart is though his stomach then the way to a woman;s, and especially this woman, is with gin!! RRP £34.95.
