Review: Lalaloopsy Glitter Make Over Doll
Over the last couple of years we have reviewed some fabulous Lalaloopsy dolls, all of which the girls have loved. One we haven’t seen before, and which we jumped at the chance to review, was the Lalaloopsy Glitter Makeover doll.
Jewel Sparkles is the most graceful princess in Lalaloopsy Land and with fully stylable hair and accessories, I knew that my girls were going to really enjoy playing with her.
The doll comes with a glitter hairdryer and glitter, colour streak hair chalk, hair clips and a hair brush, everything you need to discover your inner stylist!
I should have guessed that the girls favourite part was instantly the glitter which you can use to give Jewel Sparkle a glittery makeover!
You simply pour a little glitter into the hairdryer included…
Spritz her hair with the water spray bottle…
And then “blow-dry” her hair by pushing repeatedly on the button.
As a result the hairdryer sends out the glitter which coats Jewel Sparkles hair and, I will warn you, your entire couch!
Another lovely addition is the hair chalk which you can use on both yourself and Jewel Sparkle too.
With a choice of pink and purple you simple close the brush around the dolls hair and pull it downwards to colour.
We found it was easier to dampen the dolls hair first so the chalk colours really showed up, and the same in the girls hair too!
This is a really fun doll and one which I know my girls will play with over and over. It’s a great size and as always, lives up to the high standard associated with Lalaloopsy. With a RRP of £35 it is a little expensive but you can find it cheaper here on Amazon .
We were also very lucky to be sent a Lalaloopsy advent calendar which contains stick on earrings and rings. The girls were beside themselves with excitement to open the first door this morning although the argument that followed over who got the earrings wasn’t quite as much fun for me….

What a childhood dream – do you remember the cans of glitter hairspray from Claire’s Accessories? I used to love those as a child! My daughter would have so much fun with Lalaloopsy 🙂

Ohh this is what my little cousin is going gaga. She is requesting this as my Christmas gift to her and learning about this. No wonder why she liked it. She like setting her toys like this.
