A festive rainbow Giveaway – featuring Princess & The Frock

After the success of rainbow week back in October, I decided that it would be nice to carry on the rainbow theme with monthly guest posts, giveaways and stories of hope. As I have previously explained, rainbows are so important to my family and I and, with four little rainbows of our own, it is important for me to continue raising awareness of baby loss whilst also giving hope to those who are still very much in the depths of their own storm.

Christmas can be a difficult time of year for those missing a loved one, particularly for parents whose arms are empty or with nothing but a grave to visit on Christmas morning. And although I feel Joseph’s loss even more so on special occasions, I appreciate just how lucky we are to have four children to wake up to on Christmas morning, to watch their little faces as they tear open their presents, to eat our Christmas dinner surrounded by laughter and cheer, and tuck into bed at night with kisses and cuddles. However hard it is for us missing Joseph at Christmas, in some ways, it could be so much harder.

And although Christmas is very much about holly wreaths and red poinsettias, frosty mornings and snowy blizzards, it is important to remember the rainbows, and that even during such a difficult time of year, a rainbow will follow, however hard that is to believe at this moment in time.
