5 Luxury additions you can make to your home
Over the last few months with us spending so much more time at home, Im sure I’m not the only one thinking about all of the luxury additions I could make to our home. As much as I love our house, when you’re desperate for holiday and just some of life’s little luxuries, it’s hard not to imagine putting them into practice and I have to admit I’ve been researching ways we can do that in the future.
1. A loft conversion
A loft conversion has always been at the top of our list and is actually something we were hoping to have done this year but Covid-19 has delayed our plans. For us the loft conversion would serve as a large office for Gaz and myself to work from home and in time, as a sixth bedroom should we need it. I’m hoping this can be done next year and add value to our home going forward.

2. Install a home lift
Although Gaz and I are only just in our forties, it’s important to consider making your home accessible for the future and to install a home lift would not only add a little luxury, but be huge help in our old age. In our current property this wouldn’t be an option for us but in our previous house, on three stories, it would have saved a lot of exertion running up and down the stairs ten times a day!
3. Outdoor hot tub
One of our favourite things about travelling is finding accommodation with a hot tub, the children absolutely love it and I find it so relaxing at night! Having a hot tub in the garden would be amazing and for quite a reasonable expense, add some real luxury to our days at home.

4. Add a conservatory
Adding a conservatory to your home is a great way to add extra space and make the most of your living area. We spend the majority of our time in ours and it adds an open living area to our kitchen and dining room. In the Summer months when the doors are open, the kids playing in the garden, and the sun is streaming in, there really is nowhere else I’d rather be.
5. Indoor sauna room
I love the sauna when we visit a spa and have always loved the idea of incorporating one into our home. We recently stayed in a lodge with an indoor sauna and it was such a great way to round off the day. It’s definitely something I would like to look into!
What luxury addition would you make to your home?
