With long summer days, the months of July and August get busy in Helsinki, but if you visit during the shoulder months of May and June as well as September and October, you can still get milder yet beautiful weather and have fewer tourists. Some of the most popular things to do in Helsinki are visit the Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, a military fortress and UNESCO World Heritage site, the Old Market Hall for a street market type experience, and visit the Esplanade Park, a historic walking area that has lots of character and is well worth to take a stroll down.

Bergen is a charming city located on the coast of Norway and home to a well-known university. Surrounded by incredible natural landscapes including fjords and mountains, this destination is a place to visit particularly if you and your family love to explore the outdoors.
