I love this cup and saucer set from Sara Miller, an award winning british designer who expresses her passion for travel and her love for different cultures in her art. I would love to win this because it’s my mum and dad’s 50th wedding anniversary this summer. They’ve always had a special relationship with Portmeirion. They supplied the Portmeirion hotel with crabs and lobsters from the 1960s until my dad changed his career in the 1980s. Portmeirion has a very special place in their heart and they love to talk about the special party which they were invited to at Portmeirion to celebrate Mr Clough Williams-Ellis 90th birthday. Mr Williams-Ellis was the creator of the Italianate Village of Portmeirion. I’d love to cut their special anniversary cake and to serve them on this lovely colourful cake stand and to have the tea set to accompany it even though I guess on the day It’ll be champagne all round. A golden wedding is an amazing achievement!
