Advent Calendar Giveaway: The Grand Advent Calendar from Hotel Chocolat RRP £68

As much as I love all of the advent calendars I have featured in our advent calendar giveaway series this year, and there are some incredible ones to choose from, I have to say that a chocolate advent calendar reminds me the most of being a child and how eating chocolate before breakfast was the most thrilling thing about those December mornings. Even when our children choose an alternative calendar, I will always still get them a chocolate calendar alongside purely for that reason and often, I get one for myself too.

As you all know we love Hotel Chocolat and if you’re going to go all out at Christmas then the Grand Advent Calendar is the best way to do it. Brimming with all of your Hotel Chocolat favourites, including chocolate slabs, batons and truffles, there’s a new indulgent treat behind every door. There’s even some alcoholic treats for the grown ups which is a lovely treat to come home to in December!

For those who like to know exactly what they are getting the calendar contains the following:

Simple Milk Truffle

I’m happy with most chocolate though I can’t stand the new style Cadburys Dairy Milk, Toblerone and Terry’s Chocolate Orange since they’ve been taken over and had cheaper ingredients used so they taste too sweet and waxy, An advent calendar like this gives you a chance to taste lots of different products that you might well go on to buy on their own after.
