Stems: The Flexible Toy Maker ** WIN **
In a world filled with technology, there is no better feeling than having the children come home from school, get out the toys, and just play. When we were asked to review Stems, the flexible 3D toy maker, I knew that the children were going to love playing with them but also, that it would teach them so much too!

I am a huge believer in encouraging my children to participate in STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) activities and learning through play is the perfect way to introduce them to these concepts as well as teach them as they play.

The set includes 60 pieces, 12 of each colour – pink, orange, yellow, green and blue. Even better, they all fit into a handy storage tub so that when they’ve finished playing they can be packed away – bonus!
With Stems, each piece can be used individually, or slotted together, to create a hands-on exploration of 3D geometry. Made from flexible plastic, they can be twisted, hooked, slotted, attached, and the possibilities are endless!

As a parent I love that Stems encourage problem solving, fine motor co-ordination, hand-eye co-ordination, curiosity and, most of all, imagination!

As I suspected, the kids absolutely love them and it was fun to see their creations and the ways in which they played. Whilst Harry, at four, simply wanted to slot each Stem piece together, Eva, at seven, created fun glass and a hula hoop to then use as outdoor play.

For those who need some pointers, there is a multilingual activity guide included in the set to get you started. Sets of 20 are also available for those wanting a smaller set to start with.

I think Stems are such a fun toy for children and one that will really grow with them over time. We are definitely going to be adding to our collection to create even bigger, and even more imaginative creations I’m sure!

e are offering one lucky winner the chance to win a set of 60 Stems, with a RRP of £25, simply by entering via the link below. One winner will be chosen at random and notified via email at close of giveaway on 31st March. Good luck!
