Micro Speed Deluxe Scooter: Review & Giveaway!
The Micro Speed Deluxe scooter is a popular choice from Micro Scooters, designed for teens and adults who want a balance of speed, comfort, and portability. Below is an in-depth review based on key features, customer feedback, and performance:
Key Features of the Micro Speed Deluxe:
Build Quality and Design
-
- As with all Micro scooters, the Micro Speed Deluxe is built with high-quality materials, featuring a lightweight yet strong aluminum frame. Its weight capacity of around 100kg (220 lbs) makes it suitable for both teens and adults.
- The scooter is foldable, making it easy to store or carry when not in use, which is a great feature for commuters or those who travel frequently.
- It has a sleek and modern design, available in various colors, appealing to a wide range of users.
Large Wheels for a Smoother Ride
-
-
- One of the standout features of the Micro Speed Deluxe is its 145mm large wheels made from high-quality polyurethane. These bigger wheels offer a smoother ride, especially on uneven surfaces, and help maintain stability at higher speeds.
- The wheels are equipped with shock-absorbing hubs, designed to reduce vibrations when riding on bumpy roads or pavements, contributing to overall comfort.
-
Adjustable Handlebars
-
- The handlebars are adjustable, allowing you to customize the height to suit your comfort level. This makes it versatile enough to accommodate different riders, from teens to adults, and ensures a more ergonomic riding experience.
- The foam handles also provide a good grip and help absorb some of the road’s impact.
Low Deck for Easy Kicking
-
-
- The scooter has a low-to-the-ground deck, which makes pushing off and maintaining speed easier. A low deck reduces the amount of effort needed for each kick, making it a more energy-efficient ride, especially for longer journeys.
- The deck size is spacious enough for comfortable foot placement, enhancing control and balance.
-
Speed and Maneuverability
-
- As the name suggests, the Micro Speed Deluxe is designed for those who want to cover distances quickly. The larger wheels and precision bearings allow for faster speeds compared to smaller-wheeled scooters.
- Despite its speed potential, it remains highly maneuverable thanks to its compact design and responsive handling, which makes it great for urban environments where you might need to navigate through tight spaces or pedestrian areas.
Portability and Folding Mechanism
-
- One of the most practical features of the Micro Speed Deluxe is its folding mechanism, which allows it to collapse quickly and compactly for easy transportation. This makes it convenient for carrying onto public transport, storing in a car trunk, or even stowing under a desk at work or school.
- The scooter is also relatively lightweight, making it easy to carry when folded.
Safety and Braking
-
- The rear foot brake is highly effective, providing quick stopping power when needed. The brake is easy to engage and offers reliable control when riding downhill or at faster speeds.
- The large wheels, combined with the responsive braking system, give riders confidence in their ability to control the scooter safely.
Pros of the Micro Speed Deluxe:
- Smooth and fast ride thanks to the large wheels and shock-absorbing hubs.
- Durable construction using high-quality materials ensures long-lasting performance.
- Foldable and lightweight design makes it highly portable and easy to store.
- Adjustable handlebars accommodate a range of rider heights, making it versatile for both teens and adults.
- Stylish design with a variety of color options.
- Low deck height makes it easier to ride and requires less effort to push off.
