If there’s one thing I love most about Winter it’s those cold days when we stay indoors, drinking hot chocolate, reading a story and watching Christmas movies together. As much as we love being outdoors, at this time of year, I’m all about putting on my dressing gown, wrapping up in a big snuggly blanket, and keeping my feet warm in the perfect pair of slippers – my Moccis.
Moccis create slippers for the whole family in both adult and child sizes with the most fantastic range of designs. We were sent these gorgeous grey “Hygge” design which are just as warm and comfy as wearing socks, but with a non-slip sole like a slipper. They also have stayon technology which is perfect for little ones!
Each pair of Moccis is hand sewn with love which offers the added touch of authenticity and a quality that you can’t find elsewhere. They are also made using the most luxuriously soft materials and machine washable leather meaning you can wash them time and time again.
One of the things I love about Moccis is the fact they are ethically produced. In an age where everything seems to be mass produced in sweatshops and factories, it’s so refreshing to discover that Moccis make their own products in Sweden and pay all of their workers fairly. I think, as a brand, Moccis is both innovative and admirable, and based on that reason alone I would recommend them over any other slipper.
As a huge fan of the twinning craze, to know that I can buy the same slippers for all six members of our family is a real bonus. I love that the majority of designs come in both adult and child sizes so you aren’t limited to any particular style. So if as an adult you feel like wearing a penguin style or a fox design, you still can!
We love our Moccis and are fully embracing the Scandinavian way this Winter by keeping cosy and warm, putting our feet up, and adopting a much more Hygge lifestyle!
