Thank you for being a friend with Lily O’Briens Chocolate
When I was invited to take part in the Nominate a Friend campaign hosted by chocolatiers Lily O’Brien, to express my love and gratitude to one of my favourite people with a box of personalise chocolates, and receive a Desserts Collection for myself, I knew exactly who I would be sending them too.
When I started blogging, three years ago now, there was one particular blogger who reached out to me and, as soon as we starting chatting, it turned out we had so much in common. Not only do we share the same name but we both have similar likes and dislikes, interests and hobbies, and most of all we share the same values about family and friendship. From the moment we met it felt as though we were old friends and, over the last three years we have grown even closer with this beautiful lady becoming one of my very best friends.
Laura is definitely one of life’s good eggs, and she doesn’t always know it. She is loyal and kind, thoughtful and funny, and she sorts my life out for me on a daily basis. And even though we live at opposite ends of the country we still speak every single day, helping each other out with blogging work, debating the definition of smart/casual, and giving each other a running commentary on Love Island or whatever trash TV we have recently become obsessed with.
We have had some amazing adventures together, from Hampshire to the Highlands, and in this crazy world of blogging, it is an absolute pleasure to have her by my side. I am so excited for her to receive her personalised chocolates this week as a big thank you for being such an amazing friend. Plus I just know how much she is going to love them – after all, a love of chocolate is just one of our many similarities!
