Family days out at Liverpool One
Living in the North West we love to visit Liverpool as a family. We can get a direct train at the end of our road and be in central Liverpool in just over half an hour, and for the children the train journey is always part of the fun! One of our favourite places to visit in Liverpool is Liverpool One.
With over 170 stores, bars and restaurants Liverpool One is a great place for a family day out. It’s different from a regular shopping centre in that it is more spread out and has both indoor and outdoor areas. 1. Odeon Cinema
We love going to the cinema together and yet with four children that can bet expensive. At Liverpool one, every weekend and every day throughout the summer holidays, the Odeon Kids Club costs just £2.50 per person making it a really affordable treat out!
2. Adventure Golf
One of our favourite things to do at Liverpool One is go to Jungle Rumble indoor adventure golf! With two exciting 18 hole courses, featuring a jungle swamp and volcano, it’s a great way to spend a day if the weather isn’t great. I also love that, with ten years between my youngest and oldest, it’s something we can all enjoy regardless of age and ability. Although Gaz has been known to get quite competitive!
3. Enjoy a family meal
With over 30 restaurants to choose from, there is always somewhere to enjoy a nice family meal. I love that many of the restaurants are family friendly, especially on the days mine are being particularly hard work! Some of our favourites are Bills, Nando’s, TGI Friday’s and Pizza Express.
4. Chavasse Park
Chavasse Park is a gorgeous area of five acres of landscape. It’s hard to believe that so much greenery lies amongst a busy city centre shopping area, and yet its the perfect place for the kids to burn off some energy!
5. Enjoy the special events
Throughout the year Liverpool One provides all kinds of special events for families including Nature Trails for little explorers, sandy beaches, ice bars and a whole host of festive activities throughout Christmas. We love going over to see what’s on that week!

I love taking my kids to places like this. It is a one stop shop that has lots of activities offered for people of various ages. Never a boring moment in Liverpool One.

My family and I enjoy going to places like this that has indoor and outdoor areas. Bonus that it has a Pizza Express – my son loves to eat there!

I am yet to venture out to Liverpool one but my friends all love it and I glad there is variety in activies

Oh I love Liverpool One it is fantastic. I remember staying with a friend for Christmas a few years ago in Liverpool and we had a great time looking in all the shops. I also remember going to this amazing Moroccan restaurant as well!
It’s fab isn’t it? It’s only 30 minutes for us on the train so we love to go there at the weekend, so many fab museums in Liverpool too you would love! xx

I’ve never been in Liverpool, but I keep this in mind for future reference. I enjoy going to a shopping centre like Liverpool One especially if they also have outdoor park thus the entertainment for the family.

What a lovely place for a family day! When my kids were little, going to the Cinema was one of our very favorite things to do. In fact, whenever they come home, we still love to go. Just a couple of weeks ago I saw “Darkest Hour” with my son. Have you had a chance to see it yet? It’s about Winston Churchhill and literally, I was on the edge of my seat. x
Oh I haven’t seen that yet! I love taking the kids to the cinema too though, especially with a huge bucket of popcorn! xx

I’ve never been to Liverpool in my life, but I really want to go there. The fact that Liverpool One has so much to offer might help me persuade my wife to go there for a weekend or something!
