Sharing the Blog Love Showcase #51
Sharing the Blog Love Showcase

Welcome back to #SharingtheBlogLove and my weekly showcase post. I have had such a lovely week with Laura down in Hampshire at a bloggers retreat, it was so lovely to get away and enjoy some child free time! I’m finally back home and caught up on all of your posts. My favourites this week are as follows….
Someplace Strange
This post, When I’m a Mother I’ll never…, made me laugh out loud and nod along in complete agreement. I think we all have ideas of the kind of parent we will be before we have children, and yet when it happens it all goes out of the window!! I remember one thing I used to say is that my children will never have a Mcdonalds Happy Meal, turns out they’ve had that many over the years I could open up a toy shop with the amount of crappy plastic toys we have collected! This is a must read and a much needed reminder that we are all in the same boat!
Wellies on the school run
I loved this post, Saying no to perfect, and found it so thought provoking. I think so many of us are continuously striving for perfection, and especially to the ideals that we believe society expects from us, that we are missing out on so many wonderful moments with our children. It took me a long time to realise that being the perfect mother isn’t about being perfect at all and this post simply reaffirmed that fact.
Tooting Mama
Growing up: my child is going to secondary school am I ready? is a post that I can really relate to. Secondary school is such a huge milestone, I was an emotional wreck when Lewis started two years ago, and I worried so much about what that meant for my baby boy. If you have a child starting secondary school this time I’m sure you will relate to every word of this.

As a blogger I am always looking for advice on how to increase traffic to my blog and this post has some great advice on how to do just that, How social media can boost your blog traffic. I love the list of hashtags to avoid, this is such a great idea as I genuinely had no idea about this kind of thing! Instagram is one of my biggest sources of traffic to my blog but I’m hoping by avoiding these hashtags I can boost those stats further!
Please do pop over and check out any of these posts that you have missed, show them a little love, spread a little happiness, and we hope to see you back here again next week!
