#PerfectAndProud Week 3 Round-Up

Three weeks ago myself and three blogger friends, the lovely Kimberly at Oddhogg, Sarah at Run, jump, scrap and Victoria at Mummy times two, started up a new Instagram community, #PerfectAndProud. The idea behind our hashtag came from the fact that far too many of us talk down our achievements, or shy away from sharing our successes, and we want to push that very British attitude to one side and encourage you to share the things that make you proud!

And it doesn’t have to be the perfect photo, there is no need for carefully stylised shots or professional photographs, although if that’s what makes you proud then go ahead and add that hashtag, because perfection can be whatever you want it to be. When my children are jumping in muddy puddles, rain drops dripping off their little noses, their hair bedraggled and their clothes caked in mud, that moment, to me, is perfect. And it also makes me proud.

And it turns out that there are so many of you who feel the same way, whose children, or whose talents, make you feel incredibly proud. Already, just three weeks in, we have had over one thousand photos added and each week it is becoming increasingly difficult to choose our favourites!

This week it is my turn to host the round-up and I wanted to say a big thank you to all of you who have linked up, we have loved seeing your photos. With the weather beginning to feel a little more like Spring we are so happy to see that so many of you have been getting out and about this week, and our favourites definitely reflect this!

Kimberly’s favourite this week was a fantastic shot from Rachel at_mama_do. Kim loved how Rachel has her hands so full with all of the children here, something which I can most definitely relate to! I know how hard it is to get a photo of all four of the children so much as looking at the camera, let alone smiling at it!

Sarah’s favourite was from Organised Jo, a gorgeous outdoor shot of the girls, with a stunning back drop. I love how you can almost hear the sound of their laughter!

Victoria’s favourite was from We’re going on an adventure, a photo which perfectly captures her daughters personality, who is totally rocking those sunglasses!

And lastly, my favourite was this beautiful capture from Caroline at Becoming a stay at home mum. I love everything about this photo – the bubbles, the stick, that gorgeous little yellow jacket, and the lighting is just perfect!

If you would like to share the moments that make you proud, simply add the hashtag #perfectandproud to your shots this week and be sure to follow Victoria, Sarah, Kimberly and myself on Instagram to see if you have been featured.

Thank you for linking, have a wonderful week.
