What we’ve been watching so far in 2020

This year, as the January sales came around, we treated ourselves to a new hdr television and we have well and truly been making the most of it during these miserable Winter months! You might be wondering what is hdr tv? It sands for High Dynamic Range and refers to a technique to heighten a picture’s dynamic range giving an amazing picture to enjoy our favourite TV shows.

I’m sharing the top three shows we’ve been watching so far this year:

1. The Stranger

Based on Harlan Coben’s novel of the same name, The Stranger has been adapted into a binge worthy series, uncovering dark secrets with every episode. When a stranger makes a shocking claim about his wife, family man Adam Price becomes entangled in a mystery as he searches for answers. If you’re looking for a series to really get your teeth into, this is one for you!!

2. Love is Blind

I’m not going to lie, I am a sucker for a reality tv series and Love is Blind drew me in and dragged me under! For ten days men and women dated each other in different pods where they could talk to each other but never see each other. The men then proposed to the woman they wanted to marry and after the proposal they finally got to meet each other face to face. They then headed to Mexico on holiday, before returning home, moving into an apartment together, meeting each others families and friends and four weeks after they met, meeting at the altar to decide whether they wanted to say I do, or split. It’s just the most addictive series, and completely crazy at times admittedly, but I absolutely loved it and I watched the whole series in two days straight!

3. Tyson Fury: The Gypsy King

We have been loving ITV’s new three part documentary Tyson Fury: The Gypsy King as it follows the controversial boxer as he prepares for his next fight. Over several months cameras followed Tyson, his wife Paris, their five children, and his Dad as he prepares to take on arch-rival Deontay Wilder for a second time and reclaim his WBC World Heavyweight title. We also hear about Tyson’s ongoing struggle with his mental health, which almost led him to take his own life, and why he’ll always be deeply proud of his traveller heritage. The final episode is on this week and I am so looking forward to it, it’s been a real eye opener to say the least!

What have you been watching on television so far this year?
