Growing up I have always been lucky that my skin has been fairly problematic. Although I have issues with dry skin throughout various times of the year, in terms of acne blemishes and spots, I had escaped relatively unscathed. So after having Harry, when I suffered continuous break-outs, I assumed that perhaps it was hormonal and that my skin would settle over the coming months.
As time passed and I felt that my skin was not improving, although admittedly it wasn’t on the same level as an acne sufferer, I became very self conscious about my skin. I have never worn make up on a daily basis and yet all of a sudden I was spending a fortune on concealers and skin care products to try and combat the issue.
When I was asked to try help: clear skin it couldn’t have come at a better time for me, and I desperately hoped to see an improvement. The aim of help: clear skin is to reduce the development of the bacteria responsible for many skin impurities.

On receiving my box of 28 sachets, I initially worried about the taste and ease of use given that similar dissolvable sachets can be very chalky, strong tasting and impossible to stomach. I dissolved my sachets in to my orange juice over breakfast and genuinely would not have noticed it was even in there.
After the first week I did not see any improvement in my skin, and was disappointed as I had hoped for fast results. When I read the instructions within the box I saw that help: clear skin state that you should see “directly tangible results in their skin after six weeks of using one sachet a day.” They also state that should you not see a result in this period of us, due to the fact that everyone is unique in their unique makeup, they recommend that you seek an alternative solution.
By the end of week three I was questioning the effectiveness of this product and yet by week four I noticed that my oily patches were clearing, my usual problematic areas less pronounced, and I had not experienced a break out for several days. By the time I finished my first box of help: clear skin I felt that my skin was brighter, clearer and more than that, spot free.
I wish that I had before and after photos to show you but unfortunately, due to feeling self conscious about my skin, I shied away from the camera during any break outs. It has been lovely to skip the concealer each morning and feel comfortable in my own skin, and I will definitely be using this product in the long term.
