Gardening made easy with BloomBox Club – Giveaway!

Gardening has never been my forte, and, unfortunately, nor is it Gaz’s, and I am hugely envious of our neighbours gardens, especially at this time of year. With our garden beginning to resemble a mud bath, and the weeds well and truly taking over, we have decided to give our garden a much needed makeover, digging up the turf and laying artificial grass and replacing some of the more overgrown shrubbery with flowers and patio pots. So when we were asked if we would like to review BloomBox Club, it couldn’t have come at a better time!

BloomBox Club gives you the opportunity to sign up to receive beautiful, easy care plants and have them packaged up and delivered safely to your door each quarter. Voted one of the UK’s top 20 horticulturalists, Mr Plant Geek is the in-house horticultural advisor and shares his expertise in refining plant selections, ironing out plant care and making sure that BloomBox are bringing you all that is new and interesting in the plant world. And for people like me, who wouldn’t have the first clue to start? This is utterly perfect!

From small gardens, to large gardens, patio sets and indoor plants, there really is something for everyone. With us wanting to brighten up our outdoor space we opted for the Small outdoor plants set. The set contains five plants and care cards, delivered every quarter, a BloomBox Club hessian sack planter and even Saturday courier delivery – bonus!

My biggest concern was, are these plants going to make it here in one piece, let alone without dying, and yet our plants arrived, well packed, and watered, and perfectly ready to plant.

Thankfully each plant came with it’s own individual care card, telling us exactly what to do, and how to make sure that our plants continue to thrive.

My Dad very kindly came over to build us a few patio boxes, just made out of some old planks of wood, which looked lovely and rustic and the perfect place for our plants to grow!

As lovely as all of the plants are, the forget me not is my favourite. These flowers have always reminded me of Joseph and so in that way, this one was extra special.

We were really impressed with the quality of the plants, the range of products and the service provided. For £59 a year we are able to receive expert advice, order plants and have them delivered to our home each quarter, all without dragging four whiny children around a garden centre! Now that’s a pretty good reason to sign up for a subscription right there!

For more information be sure to visit BloomBox Club.

If you would like to be in with a chance of winning your own Small Outdoor Plants set, simply enter via the link below. The winner will be notified via email on May 29th, good luck!!

Currently I really like a tall purple verbena I have in the garden – it flowers from early summer right through til autumn and gives height to the garden! It’s the one most guests comment on too!
