Having been thinking a lot about the direction I want my blog to take in the new year, I decided to go back to basics and rediscover the reasons why my blog started – to raise awareness. For that reason I plan on launching a new blog series this coming January, This is My Life.
The series will showcase one blogger each week sharing their personal story. I have had an over whelming response to the series covering topics such as baby loss, mental illness, drug addiction and illness, all of which will be a real honour to share.
For that reason I have been trying to design a new badge for my series, something I can use on each post to make it recognisable amongst my regular posts. Given the fact that I’m not very creative I was grateful to be introduced to Logojoy, a website which quite simply, does it all for you!
The website is so easy, taking you through five easy steps to create the perfect logo for your needs.
1. Start with Inspiration
Select logo styles, colours, and icons you like. Logojoy will use these as inspiration when generating your logo options. You’ll also enter your company name in this step.
2. Browse & Favourite Logo Mockups
Within seconds, you’ll be browsing 100% custom logos tailored to your business. As you scroll, we’ll generate more logos based on your favourites.
3. See Designs in Action
Favorite a logo to preview what it looks like on business cards, T-shirts, and more. As you make changes to the logo in our easy-to-use editor, previews update in real-time.
4. Perfect Your Logo
Browse and sample different fonts, colours, layouts, and symbols to perfect your design. You can also change the spacing, font size, and more.
5. Get Ready-To-Use Files
After purchase, we’ll send you all the logo files a designer would, including high-res PNGs and vector files to use in print, online, and anywhere else. We even provide perfectly sized versions of your logo for social media, and brand guidelines with the colours and fonts used.
Having followed the five easy steps and had a play around with the colours, fonts and styles of logo, I was really pleased with my finished result which was simple and yet a little different with the gold leaf lettering.
For those who aren’t creative or struggle with design ideas, this is a really great service and so easy to use. It does come at a price, starting at $20 and going up to $165 for the full works. If you’d like to try it it’s free to look around, in the meantime I look forward to sharing my new series with you in the new year!
