This is Oh My Blog! A brand new monthly interview series featuring a whole host of fellow bloggers. Each month, we’ll be bringing you different themed posts showcasing the very best bloggers out there. This month, the questions are based on the fitting February topic of love!
This month, we’re meeting Kayleigh from Little B & Me.
Tell us about yourself and your blog.
My name is Kayleigh & I have a very nutty, head strong two and a half year old who we all refer to as B. I started my blog as a stress outlet & it has grown to so much more. My blog is my second child, my best friend & most importantly some peoples go to place to know that they aren’t alone in the things they are going through. I love to blog about everything from my pregnancy story to class reviews, I enjoy writing about everything. WELL nearly everything.
What is your current relationship status?
I’m a single pringle, I absolutely hate it but I can’t settle until I meet the perfect person for me.
Do you ever celebrate Valentine’s’ Day?
No, I don’t celebrate Valentine’s mainly because I’m always usually single on that day! Even when I haven’t been, the few boyfriends I’ve had weren’t romantic! I wouldn’t expect anything extravagant either, a lovely park walk & a meal would be absolutely perfect.
It’s your first date! Where do you go?
Right, I’m going to put this out there that I would absolutely love to go & feed the lions at Paradise Wildlife Park for a first date. THAT would be absolutely perfect or should I say purrfect. I’d love to be taken to Zizzi after for a vegan pizza & garlic bread! Gosh I’m hungry just thinking about it.
What’s the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for you?
I guess going to the effort of getting me a Makeup artist in for a night out so I felt super pretty. Other than that, I haven’t really had anything romantic done for me. I would absolutely love to have one of those picnic under the stars type of nights but sadly, no one has ever done that for me.
What is your favourite romantic film? Cheesier the better.
I absolutely hate romantic films, WAIT, No…. Shaun of the dead! THAT is a romance flick! I’m not a huge lover of ‘proper’ romantic films.
Spill the beans! Who’s your celebrity crush?
My ‘normal’ celeb crush is Tom Hardy, everyone seems to love him recently. He is very ‘in’ at the moment haha.
My different crush is.. WAIT FOR IT.. Boris Johnson. I absolutely love the man, his messy blonde locks & the absolutely hilarious situations he gets himself into. PERFECT MAN
Flowers are pretty popular at this time of year. Do you like receiving them or do they really not float your boat?
I absolutely hate flowers, well that may sound a bit harsh. I’m just not a fan of them in the slightest, I’d prefer a pack of 30p vegan biscuits!
Do you have children? Do you want any (or any more)?
I have one child, a little boy. I don’t want any more naturally but if I met someone who did, I would love to adopt!
What would be (or was) your choice of song for your first dance at your wedding?
I don’t think I can answer that till I meet the man I want to marry, until then I have no idea. I would however love to have a really odd music choice so it confused people a little!
Do you have any plans yet for Valentine’s Day 2017?
No, I do however hope B has organised a day for his momma, treating her to stories & such. Alas Valentine’s day will probably involve lots of crying(from B), screeching for a game, crying because said game isn’t working how he wants & then one kiss haha!
Raw oysters are pretty famous for being an aphrodisiac. Have you ever tried them?
No! Now that I follow a vegan diet they are even more so off the menu.
Imagining money’s no object, where would you go for a romantic getaway?
I would absolutely love to head to the US or Russia & go for a weekend of shooting. We sadly no longer have ranges here that people can use so I know I have to head away if I want to ever try it. It would be music to my ears if someone told me they’d organised this for me.
What’s the best Valentine’s gift you’ve ever received?
I don’t think I’ve ever received one! I shall sit & wait & see what my beautiful little boy makes me.
Finally, what is the number one most important thing you value in a relationship?
Honesty, its the only thing I need. I’ve learnt how important it is over the past few years & it’s now top of my list! It means more to me than anything else, looks fade but honesty stays.
